Who we are
Temple of Moto was founded with the objective of providing both the best motorcycle riding experience and the best chance to explore the great outdoors, all in one single motorcycle tour.
All our motorcycle guides have years of experience leading tours in the US and internationally; all speak at least two languages, and all are fueled by a passion for the great outdoors. You should come and meet them in the Temple of Moto they have created.

Michele Barsanti - Founder and Chief Moto Explorer
Michele (pronounced ME-KAY-LAY) has been riding anything with two wheels and an engine since he was 14 (alas, more than 30 years ago). He was born in Tuscany, Italy, where he learnt to appreciate how even the smallest motorcycle could take you to the most amazing places. He has been living in the US since 2009, but he grew up in Italy and spent many years in several European and Asian countries.
Michele has four passions in life: motorcycles, motorcycle travels, good food and the great outdoors. Temple of Moto is his solution to combine all of them. Michele has organized and guided motorcycle and food tours in Europe, Asia and North America. He is a certified advanced motorcycle instructor, both in the US and in Europe, and the creator of CAMP - The Motocamping Club, one of the largest motocamping clubs in America.
If he is not motorcycle camping somewhere - either alone or with his friends - Michele is probably cooking or baking or hiking and backpacking. And while he is doing that, he is probably thinking of his next adventure, or his next motorcycle or of ways to grow the motorcycle community.
Michele speaks English, Italian, French and Spanish. He currently lives in Chicago.
