Route 66 motorcycle tour
MAY 12-26, 2025
What is this tour about?
It isn’t an exaggeration if we say that Route 66, aka the Mother Road, has shaped the very image of America in the minds of millions of travelers. Watch any American road movie, talk to anybody in the US, and you will soon realize that being on the road is an essential part of the very definition of freedom. And Route 66 is often THE road by definition.
Temple of Moto Route 66 motorcycle tour will take you on a 2 weeks discovery of Route 66. Almost 2,500 miles (4,000km) in length, this road crosses through 3 times zones, six climate zones (ranging from desert to Mediterranean to Alpine climates) and a thousand different landscapes (deserts, plains, mountains, grasslands, cities). From the skyscrapers of Chicago, its starting point, to the small towns of Illinois, Missouri, Kansas. From the the deserts and cowboy feel of Oklahoma and Texas, through the mountains of New Mexico and Arizona, through the California desert to the Pacific Ocean of its final destination in Los Angeles.
Who is this tour for?
This tour is for the rider who is fascinated with Americana, American history and popular culture in general. As you ride, you will have the impression of being lost in time, as many of the historical landmarks of Route 66 seem to be perfectly stuck in the 1950’s: restaurants, motels, gas stations, road attractions of the most different kind.
Our multilingual staff (English, French, Spanish and Italian) will guide your small group on an intimate discovery of this Road, while you make friends for life. Your luggage will travel on our support vehicle, and wait for you at the next stop. Tired of riding? Load up your bike into our truck for a day, and relax while being driven in our support vehicle.
Maximum 10 motorcycles.
